Director, Human Resources and Administration

Ramona is a passionate human resources professional and enjoys interacting with people. As the Director of Human Resources & Administration she started at the company in September 2015 and finds it very satisfying to provide order and structure that assist the group to work better and function optimally. She is the custodian for the human resources aspect of the group and has a leading role to play in ensuring that the people and processes are in place to assist the business in achieving its objectives.

Ramona’s career started in Woolworths Financial Services as an HR intern in 2001 for 3 months before being offered a part-time position as an HR Administrator. She was then offered a full time post where she worked another 4 years with the brand.

From there Ramona moved into government as a Recruitment Consultant in November 2004 for 2 years and was then promoted to a HR Generalist roles where she spent 8 years devoted to serving this country through her HR role.

She them moved to the Global Group of Companies in January 2015, where she worked with the Rail Engineering, Manufacturing and Heavy Engineering sectors of the Group for 8 months. Ramona worked closely with professional skilled and artisan employees and in this time, she dealt with a number of trade unions and bargaining councils due to a large number of employees being based in the manufacturing sectors of the business.

Ramona has a certificate in Office Skills, a BTech Degree in Human Resource Management from Cape Peninsula University of Technology and also completed an Emerging Management Development Program with the University of Pretoria in 2009.

Ramona believes that life is a constant learning curve and that each day you can learn something new from someone. The day we stop learning is the day you stop growing!
