Greg joined Black Rhino in 2012. He has a legal background with strong experience in operational management, mining and construction development work in several African countries.
He has worked on multiple infrastructure projects in the following areas; roads, rail, ports, mining & beneficiation, construction, oil & gas and airports. Prior to joining Black Rhino, he was the General Counsel of the SEACOM Group of companies.
Prior to that, he served as the Head of Legal for the civils contractor for the multi-billion dollar Gautrain Rapid Rail Link Project, the largest Public-Private Project undertaken in Africa. The Gautrain Rapid Rail Link is the first high speed train in Africa and is considered one of the most important transportation projects ever undertaken on the continent.
He is an attorney and has extensive experience in drafting and administering construction contracts, both standard form and bespoke contracts. He holds a L.L.B. and a B.Comm. from the University of Cape Town and speaks English, Portuguese and Afrikaans.
